This game is simply amazing. If you have ever thought that your avrange Motocross game is bland, easy and had no soul. Could be MXGP or MX Vs ATV. You should give this game a try. If you are a player hopping over from MX simulator, dont hesitate. This game wont dissapoint. This sim makes it really hard to go back to the more arcade MX games. If you enjoy hardcore sims with a learning curve as you learn to properly roll jumps, climb hills, adjust your body position under heavy braking and turning, and everything else that goes into riding a real MX bikes, with little to no hand holding on the games side, Then this is the MX game for you. The level of immersion in this sim is unmatched. That’s likely due to the cockpit/first person view actually being usable, and fun to use. This is the ONLY racing game I’ve played where I prefer to use first person view, it’s just done really well. The same goes for all of PiBoSo’s games (Check out GP Bikes too!), the first person view is where it’s at!
I will say that mods are required for the most enjoyment. But all that really means is a single download for some OEM (real) bikes, and then a stop at the modded tracks list to hand select and build your track library. Installing mods is a matter of dragging and dropping them from a zip file to a mod folder, it’s not a drawn out process, or anything that requires 3rd party software.if you are looking for a wheelie game well this is the one has really good mechanics and if you are not getting the game for the wheelies the tracks and jumps are really well made also followed up by mods you can download. As someone who spent thousands of hours grinding Mx Simulator from late 2007 / early 2008 all the way until 2018 (10 years) racing rF Pro nationals, winning races, winning MXON + playing every (arcade) motocross game since 1998. I can say with confidence this game has given me a racing experience like no other, the feeling you get when battling with friends is SO MUCH FUN, you’re not fighting the physics constantly, and you also aren’t 5th wide everywhere. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
For a game that is still in early access I am excited to see where it goes over the next 5 years as to be expected there are some small bugs, they are quickly forgotten as soon as you rail that first berm and scrub the tabletop. If you are on the fence of purchasing this game, I could not recommend it highly enough, give it the time it deserves.PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD COPY A SETUP FROM SOMEONE ON YOUTUBE! This game is miserable without having the proper setup. As soon as you get the setup dialed this is a whole new game. The community around this game is fantastic, new tracks, bikes, and gear are constantly being released and the online races are starting to get serious. Its the perfect time to get into this game. This is the most amount of hours i’ve put into a game and i’m seriously addicted. I cannot recommend this enough. P.S – COPY A SETUP FROM SOMEONE BEFORE YOU JUDGE.
A motorcycle game that feels like you are riding a motorcycle and has realistic physics and has vr? What is this sorcery. I need to play more but just from playing literally 10 seconds I already can tell this is something different in a very good way. Edit after about 20 hours of playing. This is my favorite motorcycle game hands down. I have never had so much fun with just me and the track. This game is absolutely worth your time and effort. You will struggle but it is rewarding. I love this game. For all the people saying it is too expensive, I have gone through about 3 Ride games and 2 MXGP games and a Monster motocross game all in the span I could have just been play ing MX bikes. So yeah this game keeps on giving while others try to make the same game over and over again. The controls are simple, but you NEED a controller. Maybe even a foot pedal set up to really ring the gears out on the bikes when you get comfortable. THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV
Manual shifting is far superior on the tracks. The game runs smooth, 200FPS on a GTX 1060. There isn’t anything more satisfying that a full fast lap with some Oppo’s and whips in there once you get the hang of it, but It will take a good 2-4 hours to get the hang of it.Moto is HARD, (Most physically demanding sport in the world) this game is hard and simulates real riding physics, on the assumption that you ride already or have a basic knowledge of the sport and bikes. No training tutorials just a test track, and a garage. The physics are so technical that a huge difference in control can be found by rider positions, brake forces, THROTTLE CONTROL.. (A lot of little riding techniques in real world apply to this SIM, counter leaning in corners, stand up and throttle into the apex, sit while on the brake, roll on the throttle out etc.).
I highly recommend this game if you want a MX sim that isn’t super hard,(But challenging) with less of a clunky pre determined arcade feeling. To put this into perspective, this game is basically simulating Gumby, on a bucking bronco and you have to try and keep him on for an entire lap. Just like real life Moto. This game is the best MX game I’ve ever played, PERIOD but If you want an arcad, easy to play MX game like MXGP or MX vs ATV reflex, expecting to just jump on a 450F and throw some greasy whips on your very first go with ZERO temper tantrums…….It’s not going to happen. My first factory motorcycle was an Austrian Puch. Unfortunately, this brand no longer exists. I was with Puch from 1979 to 1981, won a total of four national championship titles there and drove my first World Championship season in 1981. I finished this straight away in fifth place. That was a huge success and it was also a very, very good motorcycle, ”says Kini. Here above the offices we built up the Kini history and exhibited a few pieces from my brothers, from Hannes and myself,” explains two-time motocross world champion Heinz Kinigadner , who turned 60 on January 28th. «The collection is not quite complete. For example, my motorcycle from the 1985 season, with which I became world champion, is now in the Motohall in Mattighofen .
”This is the most difficult game i have ever played. But at the same time it is extremely satisfying figuring it out. Best motocross game created thus far. One of the best features of this game is the mods. Seems like a new player created track is created every day. Not all are good but some are very well done. There is even a replica of my local track. The bike customization is awesome as well.
