MasterpieceVR Free Download Unfitgirl A new free version of Masterpiece Studio is available today, enabling anyone to use the tools for non-commercial purposes. Masterpiece Studio Pro is a creative suite that give creators a way to easily make 3D character, props, animations and more. It can be used as a standalone service or integrated with other modeling apps in VR or on desktop. The updated suite launched in early 2020, adding expanded support, features and programs. It now consists of two programs, Masterpiece Creator and Masterpiece Motion, allowing indie creators to conceptualize, create, rig, animate and export 3D models all in one workflow. The free edition has all the same features as Masterpiece Studio Pro, with certain restrictions on exporting assets. Paid users, who are subscribed to one of the Masterpiece Studio Pro plans, can access private exporting options. The new free, non-commercial license will only cover exporting to Masterpiece’s public gallery online. The gallery can be browsed by Masterpiece users and allows them to download, modify and remix any available assets. The overall aim is for the free edition of Masterpiece Studio to encourage indie creators to get started and create without any initial costs while also building a large community of 3D creators and assets ahead of an expected increase in demand in the years to come. Since its inception in 2015, MasterpieceVR has constantly added new gestures and functionalities that would help artists and content creators to author high-quality immersive content. Over the years, it has launched Masterpiece Motion for 3D animation, Masterpiece Creator for 3D model design, and the company plans to launch a new version of Masterpiece Studio very soon, complete with collaboration capabilities. It will be helped by a recent round of funding, where Canada’s leading technology company – Cemtrex – announced a strategic investment in MasterpieceVR in December 2020. Let us review some of the key features that MasterpieceVR has to offer. What are the Key Features of MasterpieceVR? At its core, the company provides a suite of 3D content creation solutions that includes ideation, collaboration, and the actual execution. The platform has tools such as design layers, mesh and clay stamps, and snapping grids for precise content creation in 3D. Modifying the design is easy, thanks to the Move tool for repositioning and re-proportioning elements. MasterpieceVR even lets you prepare 3D models for export via auto-UV. 3D animation and dynamic designs Capabilities like auto-skin for your sculptures, dynamic character poses, animation timelines, and multiple takes, simplify most of the labour-intensive tasks involved in animating a 3D model.
Creating 3D designs and static models
MasterpieceVR ships with a pre-built library of basic animations that you can use to quickly get started. The files you create using MasterpieceVR are fully exportable in standard 3D file formats such as OBJ, STL or FBX. and if that’s not enough, you can integrate the solution with design studios like Google Poly or Sketchfab as well. The premium editions of MasterpieceVR comes with collaboration capabilities, that allows two users to login into the same virtual space and create together. The company also has a feature called Team User Management planned for release very soon that would make it suitable for more complex collaboration requirements. Dramatically accelerated workflows The recent release of MasterpieceVR in January 2020, claims to be 10X faster than its predecessor, in addition to being much more intuitive. It would allow even “newbies” to the 3D content creation space, to kickstart projects and quickly learn the necessary skills. What are the Benefits of Using MasterpieceVR? While there are plenty of easy to use, consumer-facing design tools out there that double up for business purposes, there is a massive gap in the 3D design segment. Despite the rise and rise of VR, 3D continues to be a niche skill with a difficult learning curve. MasterpieceVR effectively addresses this with an intuitive UI, collaboration capabilities, a virtual design studio environment, and integrations with most of your 3D applications and VR headsets. MasterpieceVR recently released its latest set of VR creation tools which aim to get artists quickly sculpting and animating characters by hand from the comfort of their VR headsets. Called Masterpiece Studio, the 3D content creation suite combines the 3D modeling software Masterpiece Creator with Masterpiece Motion, an animation software for rigging 3D models in VR. MasterpieceVR first released its titular software for PC VR headsets back in late 2017, which notably included cross-platform multiuser support so artists on different platforms could sculpt and paint in VR together. In short, it’s a bit like the other big VR creation tools out there like Tilt Brush (2016), Oculus Medium (2017) or Quill (2017), except up to four artists can create collaboratively in VR whilst being viewed by up to 20 spectators. The company’s new software suite is however more focused on speeding up the process for individual creators looking to both build 3D models and animate them all while in VR, which aims to either compliment or replace extant creation tools entirely. MasterpieceVR says it allows creators to go from conception to fully animated model 10 times faster than traditional desktop tools, which includes rigging, skinning, posing, and applying pre-made animations to a model.
Export and collaboration
“Masterpiece Studio is a first of its kind VR creative suite that is a cost-effective solution to rapidly go from idea to usable 3D assets,” says Jon Gagne, MasterpieceVR CEO. “The suite’s feature set lets creators make professional 3D assets extremely fast and can be adopted into an existing workflow in just hours.” Although MasterpieceVR is charging a monthly fee for commercially-minded teams and freelancers, non-commercial use is free of charge; the free version features the entire software suite, however it lacks the export function. You can downloaded the free version from the company’s website, Steam, and Viveport. It supports Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Windows VR headsets. Masterpiece Studio Pro is a suite of tools for 3D content creation. The company says it’s designed for people who want to use their artistic talent to create 3D even if their background is in 2D. The company was originally founded as MasterpieceVR in 2016 by Jonathan Gagne who introduced a product of the same name in 2017. MasterpieceVR allowed up to four people to work together on content. The company said their software was compatible with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Hololens headsets. It was able to output files in OBJ, STL, and FBX so its models could be further worked on within traditional 3D tools or output by 3D printers. FAIRY TAIL
The company is now Masterpiece Studio and this latest evolution of the product has been pushed further into the 3D pipeline with tools that enable artists to perform mesh optimizations, Auto UV, retopology, and texture painting. The company is selling Masterpiece Studio Pro as a subscription in four tiers: Individual ($19.95/month, $179.95/year); Group ($39.95/month, $359.95/year). Customers are eligible for the Individual license option if they’ve made less than $200K in the last 12 months and they’re eligible for the team subscription if their revenues are less than $20 million. There have been a few products that promise 3D modeling in VR but most have been dead ends. The content they produce is not usable in typical 3D applications such as game development, VFX, visualization, etc. The company’s press release follows: Masterpiece Studio Pro’s New Immersive Creative Suite Takes the Complexity Out of 3D Creation Software Empowering All 2D Creatives to Take Their Skills to 3D First creative suite in VR to let users easily do all steps of the 3D pipeline and make professional production-ready assets. Masterpiece Studio (formerly MasterpieceVR) has announced the release of Masterpiece Studio Pro, a complete VR 3D creative suite that lets creative professionals without 3D modeling experience now easily create usable 3D content for animation, gaming, and more.
What are its main features?
CG no longer means Computer Graphics, but Creator Graphics, putting the power of creation back into the artist’s hands. The missing link in creating 3D content using virtual reality creative tools was that you could make content in VR but not use it in the real world without spending additional time cleaning it up in multiple desktop programs. “One thing that Masterpiece Studio Pro has done for me as an independent artist and creative is opened up the potential to create things that I could not have ever made or had the resources or time to create,” said Dylan Sisson, Digital Artist, Pixar Animation Studios. “Just by being able to take my 2D skillset, directly apply it in 3D, and then take those 3D assets to do something like 3D print is such a fluid and immediate process.” VR has shown promise in revolutionizing 3D content creation by making it fast, easy, and enjoyable, but this was never fully realized because there were always missing gaps in the pipeline,” says Jonathan Gagne, CEO. “Masterpiece Studio Pro is an industry milestone that uses VR and machine learning to remove the missing gaps to create production-ready 3D assets.” Masterpiece Studio (formerly MasterpieceVR) today announced it’s releasing a free edition of its latest professional VR creator suite, Masterpiece Studio Pro. The free software license is targeting individuals looking to use the suite for non-commercial use. Fallout 4
The free version is said to contain the entire set of features of Masterpiece Studio Pro, which is a subscription-based service aimed at freelancers, teams, and educators using its creation tools for work. Like its original 2019-era Masterpiece Studio, Masterpiece Studio Pro lets users create 3D assets within VR, letting you use motion controllers to draw, sculpt, texture, optimize, rig, skin, and animate things like characters or objects. The Pro version was launched back in April 2021.One of the biggest caveats with the original was the inability to export models, which was a feature only paying users could access. That’s still a thing with the free version of Pro, although the studio has now created a public library where creations can be published and viewed. “We believe this Free version will help showcase your work, bring value to other creatives, and help build the creative community of the future,” the studio says on its Steam page. The Ontario, Canada-based startup is pitching the free license as a way to support VR indie creators by not only letting them learn the ropes of their software for free, but also by establishing a way to share and remix those publicly shared creations. ‘Masterpiece Studio Pro’ is a free 3D world creation tool for people who are just starting out on the VR development side of things or find the current software needlessly complicated.
While very limited in design it does what it needs to do and even a novice like myself was able to form a few basic structures. It is worth pointing out that anything made within this program is put into the public domain, so you won’t own any of your creations, but it will allow you to make them. As always with these types of apps, it only gives you the tools to make things, but it won’t hold your hand. You will need to have creativity and some basic 3D creation know-how to make it all work. A free version of Masterpiece Studio software, used for 3D modelling and animation, is now available. The programme released in 2020 by a Canadian start-up of the same name, empowers you to create 3D animations, characters and props. Masterpiece Studio enables users to create 3D objects in virtual reality; the company claims this immersive environment allows for more intuitive creation. This free version of Masterpiece Studio includes all features, enabling you to draw, sculpt, add texture, rig, skin and animate your models. You can then export your designs to renderers and game engines. In return for the programmer free of charge, the company asks customers to ‘pay it forward’ by allowing any exports you make to be shared in a public gallery. The free software also constrains you to non-commercial uses of your work only. The Pro version, a subscription-based service, permits you to own and monetize your creations as you wish and to export your designs privately.
