Life is Feudal Your Own Free Download Unfitgirl Have you ever wondered what it might be like if you washed up on the shores of some island rich with natural resources with nothing but the clothes on your back? Do you want gather those resources and craft tools in order to gain better resources? Want to build cool castles and villages? Did you just think I was talking about Minecraft? Think again, because Life is Feudal: Your Own is taking that concept back to the Middle Ages with a more realistic aesthetic. Every bit of land on the pre-generated map can be terraformed and harvested for resources. This game encourages you to think outside the normal sandbox and build a settlement for yourself and others by starting with a very limited set of skills. You will need to sharpen these skills in order to access the meat of the game, but from what I’ve seen it can definitely be worth it. I decided to dive right into LiF: YO by creating a simple sandbox world for myself. This was a distinctly different experience from playing on an online server, Similar to many other survival sandbox games, you start with nothing except some rags for clothes and some food. One of the first things you’ll want to do is search for more food. This is something that I felt like the tutorial didn’t really stress enough. In fact, I found the tutorial to only really be helpful with the mechanics of the game. UNFITGILR.COM SEXY GAMES

Free Terraforming & Tunnel Building

Every time you take an action to lower the terrain, you end up with dirt or sand in your non-user friendly inventory and get bogged down. You must then drop it all somewhere else and repeat this process until a small indention in the earth appears. I was getting really frustrated with the pace of the game so I decided to join a random server full of others. I figured that maybe if we all worked together we could dig a hole twice as fast or build enough chairs to make a hut out of. I spawned in and was greeted warmly by the veterans of the sever. I asked if the game ever got better after the initial grind and they all seemed to agree that it does indeed get better. I soon discovered how they all managed to keep their sanity; each server has the option to scale the leveling process to a rate the creator finds acceptable. It turns out that this server I joined had an increased rate of skill progression so I was able to dig tunnels and make more complex furniture much quicker. Indeed the game really started opening up much more once I leveled all the basic skills to near maximum. I witnessed the immense structures that could be built with the teamwork of you fellow stranded cast-aways. I unfortunately did not get to experience much in the form of combat, other than smacking a chicken or two with a blunt knife. It seems not many people you meet are that interested in PvP which is a real shame Pavlov VR

the game offers fairly intricate combat mechanics including damage scaling based on what part of your weapon you hit with and military formations. I would be much more inclined to try all of that out though if I could join a server with all of my combat skills leveled up. In fact, I would say that the gating of the best content behind this grind-wall is what makes me hesitant to dive in. Creating other characters to try out different servers is such a hindrance when you need to start over each time and claw your way back to the top. It all seems like a beta test for a bigger MMO, and if you check their website and Steam page, the developers note that buying LiF: YO gets you early access to the Life is Feudal MMO slated to come out next year. Despite my initial reactions, I finally start to enjoy Life is Feudal. After getting over the initial learning curve and skill grind. There is something liberating about being able to terraform any piece of land and cut down any tree I find. I think I will keep at it for a while to really test the limits of the game. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go make an island with all the dirt I’ve dug up. You have probably already figured out where Life is Feudal is headed. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that to perform the various actions you need a commitment vaguely proportional to the real one.

Battle Formation System

Have you cut down a tree with the ax so “easily” made? (it took a quarter of an hour to find a rocky area). Well, you probably want to put the trunk in your pocket and go and take down another one … but no! The trunk, if you want to carry it, you load it on your shoulders and go, very very very slowly, where you want to stack it. Even when after several steps you have reduced the log to comfortable wooden planks, forget about carrying more than a dozen at a time, unless you build yourself a cart … This is a taste of the “realism” of Life is Feudal, which it then translates into a rather simple consequence: everything you do takes time and a lot of effort. This leads to another peculiarity of this title. Playing Life is Feudal means immersing yourself in a social experience, or playing with other human people (there are no NPCs in the game). In my first adventure I landed on an already populated island (therefore an open public server) and one of the islanders immediately contacted me and offered to welcome me into his “community”. So I started a long walk to reach the aforementioned community (whose location I found on its web page) and after about fifteen minutes (in which I came across a couple of other villages, not always friendly), from the top of a hill I spotted the farmhouse surrounded by various activities (mines, crops, various workshops) near a beach. After greeting the three characters who were connected and intent on working, I was immediately given a small plot of land for cultivation and my adventure continued on various wikis to discover the secrets of farming. All very nice, so far, but let’s fast forward to a few days later. I am always there, miserably looking for seeds in the meadows for hours and sowing them in a land (specially plowed by me for hours) which will then give me fruit and vegetables that will serve to support the community. Of course, there are far more glorious examples, such as communities building entire castles and villages, more or less rigorous role playing, servers more focused on PVP and combat in general … however one aspect remains common to all these experiences: grinding . Hand in hand with that realism we talked about earlier, grinding makes playing alone really impossible unless you’re aiming for mere Robinson Crusoe-style survival. But such a choice would be wasted for Life is Feudal, which offers its best when medium to large groups of players come together to create projects of some importance, such as the classic feudal manor. This is the basic game concept. Around it, however, there are some interesting innovations such as, for example, the concept of ownership. To maintain possession of a building or a piece of land it is necessary to build a statue and periodically offer objects in sacrifice

Full Seasonal Weather System

This is the basis of the most important law that reigns in Life is Feudal, namely property. By crossing the limits of these properties, and being caught out, one is branded as a criminal and, as such, one is freely attackable without any penalty. This system cancels itself for a daily period of time which is usually established in an hour (freely definable by the server administrator): it is “the hour of judgment” in which everyone can attack everything without any penalty, including the statues which guarantee the properties. The system is brilliant because it limits the violence but also gives a hint of unpredictability to what would otherwise be only the grinding festival. The combat follows a bit the line of the rest of the game, which is to pursue an exasperated realism. Movement of the character and swing of the weapon are separate and this creates a “Chivalry” model in which even more “subtle” parameters such as, for example, the part of the weapon that touches the enemy, the amplitude of the movement count. (which guarantees strength) and distance from the opponent. Interesting tricks have been included in the fight. Using certain weapons (the non-cutting ones in essence) it is possible to stun the enemy, and then maybe rob him avoiding the penalty for the kill. It is also possible to surrender (offering all your goods to the enemy) and thus save your skill points, as well as your skin. Phoenix Point: Year One Edition

In fact, it should not be forgotten that everything in Life is Feudal is based on the characteristics and scores of one’s character, which must be studied thoroughly together with the demands of the chosen profession. Specializations are mutually exclusive thanks to the use of skill caps (inspiration is clearly Ultima Online) and investing in certain skills means, surprise, doing infinite grinding: practicing an activity is in fact the only way to make it grow . On the technical side, Life is Feudal is capable of offering surprisingly unique aesthetic experiences. Uncontaminated nature is decidedly convincing, above all because one hardly ever notices the repetition of patterns of graphic resources and this is fundamental because, however much one can build, in the end the panorama offered by Life is Feudal is above all naturalistic. But the buildings and all the intermediate constructions are also excellent, which convey very well the idea of a fundamentally poor but hard-working medieval civilization. The characters, on the other hand, are already less convincing, given that the customization is limited and the animations still not complete. The views offered by Life is Feudal are therefore spectacular, as long as you have a PC that is up to it; the title is in fact rather expensive in terms of resources but it knows how to repay the player majestically

especially when you make certain works after hours of work and you finally find the fruit of your fatigue in front of you … maybe under a beautiful sun! Finally, a note of clear demerit relating to bugs and crashes. Too many, both on the restart side of the game, and on the side of the graphical glitches. Life is Feudal moved to release too soon and still needs months of polishing. Probably this has to do with parallel work on the MMORPG version, but this does not excuse a game that has a significant cost on PC and that requires a lot of effort from the player. Ultimately Life is Feudal is an extremely particular title in which the grinding is definitely the central part of the experience; as such it is a product that polarizes opinions at the extremes, between those who hate it fiercely and those who love it madly. But the project is coherent and well done, and if there were no technical problems, the vote would be one point higher. There’s a lot to admire about that devotion to realism, though, particularly as it allows interactions with objects through right-clicks and menus that most of its genre cousins would shy from. When I stumble across an elm in the woods, for instance, I can yank off its branches or shave its trunk for bark or just chop the whole thing down for use in a building elsewhere. But the realism doesn’t end there—in this feudal world, you’ll find no Skyrim-style bags that hold more than an entire merchant’s shop.
